Situated in the heart of Brasov, in the Councils Square, Cerbul Carpatin is one of the most prestigious and most famous Romanian-style restaurants in Brasov.
Cerbul Carpatin Restaurant
The building that hosts the restaurant was erected in the middle of the 16th century at the request of Apollonie Hirscher – the wife of the mayor of Brasov at that time. The space initially served as a trade place for the guilds of Brasov.
For decades, the traditional Romanian cuisine, and especially the Transylvanian specialties, make the delight of the guests who pass the threshold of the Cerbul Carpatin Restaurant.
The wine cellar is famous for its collection of wines gathered from all the vineyards of the country, and the folk performances enrich the Romanian hospitality atmosphere.
