Aro Palace – the hotel from the heart of Brasov

Located in the city center, overlooking Mount Tampa and the Citadel of Brasov, Aro Palace has earned a place in the top preferences of all the tourists who want the best in Brasov. The name of the hotel comes from the company Asigurarea Romaneasca, and for 10 years it was known as Hotel Carpați. Choose a Junior Suite for a fancy weekend in Brasov. The Junior Suite consists of a living area and a bedroom, arranged on an area of ​​46 square meters. You can also opt for an apartment, where the living area and the bedroom are separated by a door, the room having a total area of ​​46 square meters.

Families with children can choose the family room which consists of two rooms connected by a door, with a common area of ​​40 square meters. One of the rooms has a double bed (matrimonial), and in the second room there are 2 twin beds. The room has an accommodation capacity of 4 adults and a child.

For a truly memorable experience you can opt for the presidential apartment, located on the 7th floor, with a splendid view of Brasov Fortress and Tampa. The apartment has a generous space of 123 sqm, divided into a living room of almost 58 sqm, a bedroom of 40 sqm, an office of 20 sqm, a dressing room of 5.35 sqm, a bathroom with Jacuzzi and sauna of approximately 8 sqm. In addition, you will be able to say that you lived in the same room where His Majesty King Mihai stayed and plus many other personalities from Romania or internationally.

All rooms of the Aro Palace 5 * hotel have central heating, are fully carpeted, being adapted to international standards for the 5 * category, offering guests the comfort, elegance and privacy sought.

The rooms are equipped with mini-bar, coffee and tea maker, air conditioning, heating system, flat screen TV, free WI-FI, desk, balcony, seating area and private bathroom with bathrobe and slippers. Pets are accepted at an additional cost (you will receive all the details at the time of booking).

After a walk in the Old Center of Brasov, or maybe even in Tampa, you can relax on the terrace of Aro Palace or admire the city from the Belvedere Club, located on the top floor of the hotel.

The hotel’s restaurants have delighted and served the hotel’s customers since 1939. For over 30 years, these restaurants have been masterfully run by Lady Chef Cornelia Ghisoi, who is already part of the Aro Palace brand. Lady Chef Cornelia Ghisoi is proud of the team formed during this period, which is already considered a family.

The team prepared by Lady Chef Ghisoi is ready to delight and surprise its guests at every visit. In the Brasov Restaurant Aro Palace menu you will find traditional dishes as well as international delicacies, among which we list: “duck breast with quince bathed in raspberry sauce served with mashed potatoes with Transylvanian truffles” or “Turnedo Rossini with truffles and foie gras, Madera sauce, cracker with cheese and light mashed potatoes with truffle flavor ”.

Aro Palace’s kitchen benefits from the mastery of the chefs awarded at international competitions, the last one on which they participated in was organized in 2020, the Gastronomic Olympics in Stuttgart, from which they returned with silver medals for team and individual (Lady Chef Ghisoi).

The Aro Palace Brasov night bar is another place reason of pride for our hotel. With a maximum capacity of 200 people, the bar hosted numerous private events, cabaret shows, fashion shows, private parties at the “Golden Stag” festival, where the stars of the event were invited, press conferences and graduation balls.

For private events we offer Brasov Ballroom Aro Palace, a lounge with a total area of ​​649 square meters and a capacity of 250 seats at the lounge and balcony. The “Europe” Brasov conference center includes 3 conference rooms ready to host any business event at the highest standards.
